Ruth 2:22

English Standard Version

22 And Naomi said to Ruth, her daughter-in-law, “It is good, my daughter, that you go out with his young women, lest in another field you be assaulted.” 

New International Version

22 Naomi said to Ruth her daughter-in-law, ‘It will be good for you, my daughter, to go with the women who work for him, because in someone else’s field you might be harmed.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

22 Naomi replied to her daughter-in-law Ruth. She said, ‘That will be good for you, my daughter. Go with the women who work for him. You might be harmed if you go to someone else’s field.’ 

King James Version

22 And Naomi said unto Ruth her daughter in law, It is good, my daughter, that thou go out with his maidens, that they meet thee not in any other field.
